UPDATE Request for Bids for Food Trucks at Baker Beach within Golden Gate National Recreation Area

The National Park Service (NPS) has released on July 13, 2026, a Request for Bids (RFB) to award up to two (2) one-year leases to operate mobile food & beverage vending (food trucks) at Baker Beach within Golden Gate National Recreation Area. With year-round visitor traffic for sightseeing and recreation, this pilot provides operators with the chance to reach new customers and offer a new type of visitor services at Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The projected start date of the lease is approximately four to six weeks following bid submission, if selected. Each lease will provide an assigned parking space in the Baker Beach parking lot. Precise locations and parking space sizes are detailed in the RFB and Draft Lease. The NPS will not be accepting questions or offering a site visit as part of this solicitation.
