NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Hood / ATEC at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Safran Defense & Space, Inc. (CAGE: 1UAE7) for the WSMR Safran Telemetry Tracking Systems Windows 11 IoT Operating System Upgrade. 1. REGULATORY AUTHORITY: The statutory authority permitting the sole-source acquisition of these commercial services is 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by RFO FAR 12.102(a) (Only One Source Available) and the procedures at RFO FAR 12.201-1. 2. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide project management, custom software image development, DISA STIG cybersecurity hardening, and on-site integration services at WSMR.
