Big Bend 230kV Tie-Line Switch Replacement
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District intends to determine the extend of capable small businesses and other than small business firms that have the availability in providing the requirement described below. USACE is considering issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside Request for Proposal that will result in one (1) Firm Fixed Priced contract for the 230 kV Tie-Line Switch Replacement at Big Bend Powerhouse, Fort Thompson, SD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The general scope of work is to replace the disconnect switches connecting the Big Bend Power Plant to two (2) 230kV transmission tie lines.
