Postage Refill for Leased Mail Meter

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AWARD THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Indian Health Service, Blackfeet Service Unit, Browning, MT, hereby submits a Notice of Intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract for Postage for Meter Reader to Pitney Bowes Inc., 27 Waterview Dr., Shelton, Connecticut, UEI: CHTAKEYGS386. Blackfeet Service Unit is currently leasing Pitney Bowes�s mail meter. The sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. The current contractor, Pitney Bowes Inc., is providing services through a Purchase Order contract established for Postage Services, base plus four options years, beginning September 21, 2026.
