BQM-34S Subsonic Aerial Target (SSAT) System Advance Procurement

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Aerial Targets Program Office (PMA-208), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a standalone �C-type� contract containing Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), San Diego, CA. The anticipated effort provides for the advance procurement of long-lead items in support of the BQM-34S Subsonic Aerial Target (SSAT), including but not limited to Enhanced Integrated Avionics Units (EIAU) and Brushless Aileron Actuators. The BQM-34S SSAT is a recoverable, subsonic aerial target system utilized for weapon systems test and evaluation and Fleet training. Contract award is projected for the second quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2028, with an anticipated period of performance of 24 months.
