1. Notice of Intent The Air National Guard, 180th Fighter Wing, intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a sole-source basis to L3Harris Technologies, Inc. 2. Statutory Authority This action is being executed under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. 3. Description of Requirement The Government requires proprietary equipment only sold by L3Harris for use with L3Harris equipment already in place. Due to security mandates, changes to configurations on command-and-control capabilities require secure communications from primary work stations while maintaining mandated distance from secret interent protocol router networks.
