The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District intends to procure a contract for an intake structure and dam rehab at Fishtrap Lake in Shelbiana, Kentucky. The award of one firm-fixed price construction contract is anticipated. The Contract includes, but is not limited to, furnish all materials, equipment, labor, layouts of work features, and supervision needed to accomplish work related to Fishtrap Lake, Intake Structure and Dam Rehab. The Contractor shall complete the work in accordance with appropriate product specifications, industry standards, and contract work order plans and specifications. The current electrical commercial power source is a 12 KV distribution line owned by Kentucky Power Company (KPC). The existing line is located on the hillside and is not accessible by KPC boom trucks.
