USCGC Resolute Mustang Immersion Suit This synopsis/ solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), and the resultant purchase order will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This requirement is of an unusual and compelling urgency in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The rescue & survival equipment is necessary to ensure safety and mission readiness. Delay in award would result in unacceptable risk to government operations. This requirement includes a brand-name only materials and/or services as outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Specifications.
