FAA Single Source Notification

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to Aviat U.S.,Inc, Austin, Texas for purchase of two (2) IP-ready microwave radios with site specific transmit and receive frequencies based on current microwave radio configurations at D/10DFW complex for Field Test operations and verification in support of Brand New Air Traffic Control Systems (BNATCS) IP Microwave Solution. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA�s decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA.
