Pre-Solicitation Notice for the notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Research and Development (R&D), Regional Procurement Office (RPO) � East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to award on a sole source basis a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for a one (1) year base period to include four (4) option years to Avidity Science, LLC, 819 Bakke Ave, Waterford, WI 53185, to provide services to the Avidity Pressure Reducing Station and Software Upgrades to the existing Avidity watering system used by the Portland VAMC Research Services. Avidity Science, LLC, is the manufacturer and only known distributor of its watering system. Avidity does not have any authorized resellers. The existing Avidity system at the Portland VAMC requires service to replace Avidity equipment that has reached the end of its life expectancy and to upgrade the existing Avidity system software that is no longer supported.
