Lightweight Tripod

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources with experience in assorted light manufacturing capabilities, to included robotic welding and material finishing, and associated technologies (corporate knowledge, technical expertise, facilities, manufacturing equipment, and product acceptance test hardware). This information will help inform future U.S Government acquisition decisions and identify potential sources for the manufacture of the M205 Tripod for Heavy Machine Guns (NSN: 1005-01-586-5702) and/or the M192 Lightweight Ground Mount (LWGM) for Medium/Light Machine Guns (NSN: 1005-01-680-5028). The M205 Tripod is used with the M2/M2A1 Cal .50 Machine Guns and the MK19 40mm Grenade Machine Gun. The M192 LWGM is used with the M240B/L 7.62mm Medium Machine Guns and the M249 5.56mm Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW).
