This is a Notice of Intent notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Division of Veterinary Resources (DVR) within the National Institute of Health (NIH), Office of Research Services (ORS) requires the procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning, and training associated with the replacement of the existing Tecniplast large-capacity nonhuman primate cage and rack washer supporting nonhuman primate housing operations at the NIH main campus, Bethesda, Maryland with minimal disruption to ongoing animal care activities. DVR requires replacement of an end-of-life cage and rack washer that supports nonhuman primate (NHP) housing operations. The existing unit, manufactured by the same company that manufactures the proposed replacement system, has been in continuous service for approximately twenty (20) years and has exceeded its expected service life.
