Synopsis for the proposed - Sea Bright to Manasquan, New Jersey FY 26 Renourishment Background Information The New York District (NAN) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) proposes to perform work to provide coastal storm risk management through the construction of a beach berm in the communities of Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach, and Long Branch in Monmouth County, NJ. The scope of work includes all work necessary to complete the construction of the beach berm. This work includes, but may not be limited to, the placement of approximately 595,000 cubic yards (CY) of Beachfill in the base bid. There are multiple options with quantities varying from 155,000 CY to 348,000 CY, totaling 791,000 CY of optional beachfill placement. The contract also includes an option for remobilization/demobilization. All necessary permits required for construction shall be obtained by the Contractor.
