The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposals for the award of a single firm-fixed-price construction contract for a design-bid-build project to establish a turnkey U.S. Passport Office for the U.S. Department of State at thevWallace F. Bennett Federal Building in Salt Lake City, Utah. This notice is issued for planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. Project Description The project includes approximately 48,000 square feet of construction consisting of: A new 30,000-square-foot U.S. Passport Office; Tenant improvements to relocate five existing tenant agencies; Modifications to space occupied by a sixth tenant agency (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) to accommodate new ABAAS-compliant restrooms; and Renovation of the building lobby, including security screening enhancements.
