Notice of Intent to Sole Source Dry Ice Scheduled and Unscheduled Deliveries to U.S NMRTC Sigonella

The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price IDIQ contract to Mofeta Dei Palici S.R.L. for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Dry Ice for Scheduled and Unscheduled Deliveries. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $350,000. The contract will consist of a base year and 4 option years; the period of performance for the base year is 24Aug26 � 23Aug27. Mofeta Dei Palici S.R.L. is the only source available to provide local production and delivery of dry ice on a scheduled and unscheduled basis; meeting the time constraints from order to delivery of unscheduled dry ice deliveries.
