This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with the following vendor: Alpha Omega. Acquisition Description: The Department of Perioperative Medicine and Dr. Zaghloul is requesting a Preventative Maintenance Agreement (PMA) for the Alpha Omega Machine which is a micro-electrode recording and stimulation system for deep brain stimulation surgery. The purpose of this purchase is to provide the Surgical Neurology Branch with equipment support for a multi-modality micro-electrode recording system that can capture single-unit spiking data, local field potential data, simultaneous surface EEG data, and that can provide real-time online analyses and triggered and patterned electrical stimulation.
