Service Agreement for Smiths Detection Lightweight Chemical Detectors
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis (IAW FAR 13), with Smiths Detection located at 2202 Lakeside Blvd, Edgewood, MD, 21040, as the only responsible source that is capable of providing a customized service agreement for (24) Smiths Detection Lightweight Chemical Detectors (LCDs). Smiths Detection is the only acceptable vendor capable of providing a customized service agreement for the existing base of Smiths Detection LCDs used at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), Anniston, AL. The anticipated period of performance is through April 30, 2027, plus 1 one-year option. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (IAW FAR 13). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement.
